Five-time Grammy-winning artist Usher is back on top of the charts with his newest album Raymond v Raymond (LaFace/JIVE Label Group).

This week Usher’s sixth studio offering is the No. 1 album in the U.S. Raymond v Raymond is No. 1 on Billboard’s Top 200 Albums chart, the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, and the Top Digital Albums chart. Flex has two nominations to the Billboard Latin Music Awards, scheduled to take place next month in Puerto Rico

Flex’s new album, “Romantic Style Parte 3… Desde La Esencia,” is an album made up of ten romantic tracks leading with the first single, “Besos de Amor,” on radio stations throughout various countries of the continent. The album, recorded in Panama and produced by Predikador, is available on CD and for digital download.

Flex, alongside Ricky Rick (Kumbia All Starz) interpret the song “Besos de Amor”. The video features Omar Chaparro, was produced by André Barren and directed by Eduardo Duque. It was filmed in the South of Mexico City and takes place in an apartment, a cafeteria with a very special design, and a public square, among other locations.

This third album by Flex is yet another accomplishment that adds itself to the artist’s long list of triumphs during the last few months. In August of last year he achieved Platinum status in the United States and Puerto Rico for the sales of his album, “La Evolución Romantic Style.” Meanwhile, he went on a tour in Mexico and participated in a massive concert at the Paseo de la Reforma to promote tourism.

Sunday, internationally acclaimed actor Andy Garcia will join hundreds across the country in a symbolic march in solidarity with victims of repression in Cuba.  In Los Angeles, the march will take place in Echo Park at 2:00pm following the culmination of a 12-hour fast in honor of the late Orlando Tamayo Zapata. Tamayo was an Amnesty International prisoner of conscience who died earlier this month after an 85-day hunger strike protesting the deplorable conditions in Cuban prisons.

“We are walking in silence, dressed in the white-the color of peace and absolute freedom-to show solidarity with the Cuban people, and especially the women in white (Damas de Blanco) suffering the abuses and injustices perpetrated by the repressive Cuban government, not only onto themselves, but also towards their husbands and sons, the imprisoned political dissidents fighting for human rights and democracy in Cuba. Please join us in this march in support of the long-suffering Cuban people who deserve to enjoy the liberties that we so cherish.” – Andy Garcia

The march was spurred by recent public beatings and violent harassment of Cuba’s Ladies in White – the mothers, daughters, wives and sisters of prisoners of conscience currently on the island.  Their valiant efforts have inspired celebrities and Cuban-American Icons such as Grammy Award-winning singer Gloria Estefan and Academy ward nominated actor Andy Garcia to raise awareness about the deplorable human rights conditions in Cuba.

Special Administrators for the Estate of Michael Jackson, John Branca and John McClain, and Sony Music will continue the label’s 30-year relationship with Michael Jackson and his music with a landmark recording deal, it was announced this week.

With this new agreement, Sony Music’s Columbia Epic Label Group and Legacy Recordings will continue their term of rights to his catalog and also create new projects for Michael Jackson featuring the never-before-released Jackson recordings.  The first project featuring unreleased music is expected for release in November 2010.
